The Michelin Road 5 Motorcycle Tyre is a great addition to Michelin’s Sports Touring range. The tyre combines the modern technology with the latest compounds and siped tread patterns to achieve a design which provides the rider with the same performance (even in the wet) after 3000 as the Pilot Road 4 did from new.

The Michelin Road 5 Tyre allows you to ride with more confidence, in wet and dry conditions, even when they are 50% worn. This is according to internal studies and the Michelin Centre of Excellence comparing a 50% worn Michelin Road 5 tyre with a new and unworn Michelin Road 4 Tyre.

When riding, you can have peace of mind when using the brakes, as even when they are 50% worn, the Michelin Road 5 tyre stops as quickly as a brand new Pilot Road 4 tyre – thanks to the evolutionary XST Evo sipes tread and technology. The XST Evo sipes have been designed to increase as the wear increases on the tyre allowing the same amount of water to disperse for a longer period of tyre wear.

The tyres feature Michelin’s patented ACT+ casing technology, the Road 5 offers increased riding pleasure by increasing the contact patch to achieve straight-line and cornering stability.
